The Intracept® Procedure targets the basivertebral nerve (BVN), which carries pain signals from damaged vertebral endplates to the brain. By stopping these pain signals, the procedure offers a minimally invasive, proven solution for patients who have struggled with chronic low back pain that hasn’t improved with traditional treatments.
Dr. Bahn’s achievement marks a major milestone for spine care in our region – making OIO one of only four Centers of Excellence in Ohio and the first in Northwest Ohio.
