Meet Chad Broering M.D.
Dr. Chad Broering is a proud native of Mercer County, graduating from Marion Local High School in 2004. He attended The Ohio State University where he graduated with honors and distinction in mechanical engineering with a minor in life sciences. Through his undergraduate studies and volunteering efforts he developed a passion for medicine and went on to earn his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati. He graduated with an Outstanding Dean’s letter rating and was elected to the AOA Honor Medical Society. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at Summa Health/Crystal Clinic in Akron, Ohio where he was nominated to The American Orthopaedic Association’s C. McCollister Evarts Resident Leadership Forum. He is currently board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Ohio Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Broering has broad orthopaedic interests and enjoys providing comprehensive orthopaedic care. He has a special interest in primary and revision total joint replacement, hand and upper extremity surgery, sports medicine, and general adult and pediatric fracture care. He uses innovative techniques including multi-modality pain control, direct anterior hip replacement, and endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery to optimize patient outcomes.
He currently resides in Coldwater with his wife and five children. He enjoys spending time with his family and keeping up with local high school sports. Dr. Broering is accepting new patients at the offices located in Coldwater, Lima, and St. Marys.
